Cup 357 of 365. 24 May, 2017.
Prompt: Make a flip-book.
One of the incredible fringe benefits of hanging out with under 10s, is being able to spend more time delving into children’s books, old favourites and newer design classics. Nick Sharratt is a very distinctive illustrator – you’ll probably be familiar with his work as soon as you see it. He does a lot of work with prolific children’s authors like Jacqueline Wilson and Julia Donaldson
One of my favourites of his is The Big Book of Crazy Mix Ups – I don’t think you can ever get too old for this one.
So this piece is my rapid homage, in cup form, to this peerless piece of children’s literature.
You have to look at the very short video here to get the full effect.
