Cup 344 of 365. 11 May, 2017.
Prompt: inspired by space or stars.
This turned into a bit of a surreal flight of fancy. Another day. Another cup. There happens to be a constellation in the Southern Skies called The Cup of Apollo, or Crater. The Latin name ‘crater’ actually means ‘mixing bowl’. I allowed my mind to wander gently on to dictionary definitions and mythology: moons and planets covered with cup-shaped depressions.
A sad planet that can only be consoled by cakes made in the Mixing Bowl of Apollo. Surrealism: the struggle is real. As you were.
